I figured that if all that goes is the stitching, then dropping
them off at a shoe menders shouldn't be too bad.

What I liked about them, is that they stayed together. They didn't
start coming apart. Even where the stitching has worn, they still
stay together... I just need to avoid sticking my finger in the
hole and making it bigger <grin>.
