Riding Sneakers

I am going to begin getting off and walking with my horse more during rides
(at least that is the optimistic thought!).  I have Ariat ankle boots that
I really like when I'm in the saddle, but they are terrible on the ground.
Has anyone used Mountain Horse Riding sneakers?  or any other riding
sneaker?  Would appreciate hearing from those who use a sneaker-type shoe.
