Hi Jennifer,(and anyone interested in Morgan Springs Rides) One of the advantages about the Morgan Springs ride is that it is OUT of the valley heat! It is about 5000 feet up and is usually l0 degrees(more at night) cooler than any ride in the valley areas! (In other words, if it is about l00 in the Sacramento Valley, it will be in the low 90's there. If it is 90's here, it is in the 80's there) Sometimes it gets chilly at night(don't I wish here in Red Bluff when last night it was l05 at 8 p.m. supposed to cool off for the weekend--PLEASE!) The high was l06 yesterday, same today. I was working with a sick foal and it wasn't fun!) Anyway, this is a nice ride. Sarah said some people had asked if it were "too late to enter" and I don't think there IS a deadline to enter at all! Hope this answers your temperature question! Be nice to meet you there. I am planning on helping at the ride.(Would rather ride.....) but am trying to be a 'good sport' about it....Maureen Jennifer Hixson Layman wrote: > > Maureen, > > I think you were nice enough to send me a description of the Morgan Springs > ride when I asked.
