-----Original Message----- From: Rhonda K Levinson [SMTP:levinson1@juno.com] I have been reading with interest the comments about the stirrup placement on the SS being too far forward. What do you do about that? Ichecked my saddle over and I cannot see a way to change where the stirrups hang. Do I have to have it professionally modified? Rhonda [Karen Sullivan] Yes-I looked into having it done on my Circle Y Sport saddle, think it would have cost about $150 to send it back to Sport Saddle Inc. So I opted to just order a new one........they USED to make a WONDERFUL stirrup option called a slide-bar.. You could slide the stirrups leathers along the bar and have many positions. I liked it, but they discontuined it. Seemd it would be real easy to have something like a slide bar-but with pegs for the leather to catch into; to hold it in different positions.
