John Wayne Trail

Bulletin Board: 

The John Wayne Trail in Washington State runs 140 miles along abandoned track from the Columbia River to the Idaho border.  It is open to non-motorized, recreational users - including equestrians.  Currently it is only open October 1 to June 15.  Public comment is requested on a proposal by the Recreation Lands Section, Washington State Department of Natural Resources, to open the trail year round.  A public hearing will be held July 7, 7 PM, at City Hall, Warden,Washington.
