Hi, have you thought about an abcess?  Your symptoms sound a whole lot like what I went through with Cien - I didn't figure it out until the thing burst out of his coronary band.  Then, I just doctored the hole and he was fine.  He went from barely able to walk to totally sound the minute that thing burst.  Just a thought, Rachael
