Excersize for the people

... was "got a fat butt" ;-)

What I've found is that Steph's conditioning log has plenty
of space for me to track how many miles I'm doing as well.
And I'm trying not to be too hard on myself. Right now, my
goal is simply to travel 10 miles per week on my own. At a
walk if that's what I can get myself to do. Then I write
it down for the day right along with whatever riding. I
walk a minimum of 2 miles at a time, so 5 days a week lets
me meet my goal. It helps. At the end of the week, I add
up how many miles I did. Some days I feel like running abit,
but I never force it. Walking is fine and takes longer.
I'm still getting in my 10 miles. LSD for people! ;-)

Dressage lessons help. Dressage lessons can kill your
thighs in less than 10 minutes.

Another thing that is fun... taking my 30 ft long line and
attaching it to Blue's halter... then taking a hold of his
tail and asking him to "tail" all over the ranch and local
trails. Walk / trot on command. Gee / Haw. This is very
entertaining in long grass... for other people. But *I*
get lots of excersize. :) :) :) Of course it would never
occur to Blue to kick anyone or anything for any reason.

So far, my thighs are a bit better, but I still have the
"tummy". :( Plus, I've gotten really really hungry all
the time.
