Funny way of going

After doing 2 training rides this weekend, I notice my thorobred gelding is
tightrope troting behind. He seems to do this more after alot of work and I
was wondering what part of his comformation could account for this. It
definitely is more pronounced as he gets tired. Anyone have any clues? I
just wonder if this is any indication that he needs stength training, maybe
more lateral work. I'd love some feedback. Any massage therapist have any
massage techniques?
 Thanks to all.
Paula and Cosmo the wonder horse
