Speaking of spooking.  My first trail horse had never seen an Amish buggy in
motion.  So when riding with friends, I thought I should get off and hold
Charlie until the monster passed!  Well, he ran backwards for 1/4 mile with
me flying right along with him before he finally stopped!  The Amish folks
thought I was nuts, my horse crazy, and I was just glad to be alive and in
one piece!  The next Amish buggy, my friends sandwiched Charlie and me
between them and we survived that much better!  Jeanie
