Me too, it made $500 for me.  I bought a 14.1 little buckskin quarter
mare on Wednesday.  Had one of those poor beginners who had been hit by
the: "bloodline selling (this Arab line slept in the tents), pyramid scam
(you'll make the purchase back with the first foal) and had spent 4
horrible years trying to learn to ride on a very hateful, spoiled young
Arab mare.  I wasn't trying to sell her a horse, just went as an advisor
to a person who was looking to buy her spoiled mare and started ranting
about how terrible it was that they'd talked her into trying to learn on
this green mare and had ruined them both.

  She called me 2 days later and said, I've been thinking about what you
said, "find me a horse".  She tried the buckskin Saturday. She was riding
it down a dirt road and a kid came flying down a driveway and did a half
turn skid stop on a Big Wheel. The buckskin didn't flinch.  She handed me
$1,000 without batting and eye.  A few days later she called me almost
crying she was so happy, "We crossed WATER!!!"

By the way, the girl I went to check the spoiled Arab mare for bought her
against my advice.  She thought I was a genius for making the price go
from $2,000 to $800.  I thought she was an idiot for paying $800.  She
did a 25 miler with her and I had to stop and hold one end of a long rein
while she beat the other end.  It took us 10 minutes to get her over a
trickle of a stream and I finally understood the woman being so emotional
about the buckskin crossing water. :-)
