Sunburns and passing

Carla rclawson@mindspring.com
okay this sounds goofy. My first question is for my poor white arab mare. She has sunburns on her nose and is to busy eating and eating and eating to get into the shade. I haven't access to a barn quite yet and I use a fly spray with sunscreen in it. Never owned a white horse b4 sooooo. suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
question number two.. I have asked politely and I have done all including my horses nose in the rear but I can't be allowed to pass. When we get to a point where we can the !@#$%!@^#% speeds up. When is it Okay to get nasty? What is a good approach to get by without being down right ugly about it? It is like driving on the road and you are behind some jerk speeds up and slows down and you can't pass. Sorry to get on my soap box but geeezzzz. I would kindly let a person pass but GO THE HECK ON!!!!!any suggestions besides "hey your horse looks off!!" or " your horse has a rub"
