Re: Re: Living Quarter versus Motor Home

I went through the same quandry and we just bought a 24' Winnebago and 3
horse slant Circle J. The Winnie has a Ford V10 in it and seems to have
lots of power. We did reinforce the hitch to accomodate the trailer
weight. It will take 14,000lbs.

Crewing should be easy as there is a side compartment with room for a hay
bag, buckets, blankets, etc. so you don't have to carry it in the living
part. There is an outside shower and awning. Also at bad weather rides it
will be great to get inside and warmed up or cooled off as the case may be.

Plus I like the fact that we can do other things with the rig. We car race
so we can tow a car to our rallies or just take off for a weekend away from
the cars and the horses.

Fodder for thought.
