I should amend this.  The other place I've seen the elevator
is when I recently visited the Shelbyville, Tennessee area
and took in all the local Tennessee Walking Horse supply places.
Elevators seem to be a very common Walking Horse bit design.
I have no idea whether this is recent or not.
