Re: RC: Re: Bit advice wanted (was Control and Courtesy)

I use to own this mare that pulled so hard with me for about 40 miles
that one time she turned her tongue black & blue with snaffle tom tumb type
bit. At the 30 mile vet ck she almost choked because of this. I change to
an Arabian S hackamore back then. I found it in the Jeffers catalog &
thought it looked like it would work. So If you want a good endurance
hackamore. Try the Arabian S hackamore. You can purchase it out of the
Jeffers catalog or call them at 1-800-jeffers. The cost is about $25.00.
Sportack & Trail-End also sells them, the cost is about $35.00 (same thing).
I turn them on to this hackamore about 3 years ago. I've been using this
hackamore for about 8 years now on dozens of different horses. Try it you'll
love it. No more sucking air at the water tubs at rides with a bit in their
mouth either!
