Dabney,

I have a friend that was given an unbroken 11/12 yr old Morgan stallion that 
was blind in one eye.  She is now doing CTR's and did her first LD (came in 
8th on a tough ride) with him.  I ride my stallion with him on conditioning 
rides & he is a very nicely behaved horse.  Cathy is an experienced rider, 
but not a huge risk taker, and she seems to be doing fine with her one-eyed 
stallion.  She is alert to situations on his blind side and has developed a 
rapport with him that he trusts her.
