Well, if needs to go in the cooler - the cooler better be cool. The way to
do that is to freeze as many items as possible. In addition to protecting
those items, they also act as additional ice.  I freeze my OJ (wrapped in
zip lock back incase freezing pops the top, precooked spaghetti, meat. You
might have to thaw out the OJ in pan of hot water the first morning. It also
helps to keep the cooler packed as tight as possible - just find some
container that fits and and freeze water in it.
