Ride and Tie

Hello Ridecamper

Just wondering if someone could give me some
pointers on Ride and Tie's.  This weekend I'm
doing the 8miler at Prineville. Neither my partner
nor I have done one before and we're not sure how to
go about it in an efficient manner. What strategy is
most effective?

Any info would be appreciated.
