running shoes

I wear Heelsdown sneekers when I ride, but they are hurting my toes after I 
run down hill.    I haven't yet found any shoe that will hold up to the 
rigors of  trail and are comfortable.   Can anyone suggest a brand that works 
well for running and riding. Thanks, Pam
