re: Stride Length

I have a video of a 3 year old Anglo I'm considering. He doesn't have the
high action trot but it does appear to be quite efficient, not quite the
"daisy cutter" trot Heidi referred to. However, he does appear to have a
natural extended trot with a slight "snap" (don't know how else to describe
it) -- the type you look for in dressage. I'm basing statement that it is
natural on the fact that the video was taken in the pasture in a herd
environment & he is not yet started under saddle. Is this something I
should be concerned about?

Thanks
Vicki Wheeler
