Nina's secret splint boots

Actually she is using Prof.Choice, but because of the neoprene

O.K. since it wasn't used in the article on Nina Warren, here's her
secret:  Silicone bathtub caulking!

She said she came on the idea by accident.  They had smeared Desitin on a
horse and the vet made the joke, "So, you're patching them up with
silicone now?"  It gave her an idea.  Since Jedi always got rubs from his
boots, she washed his leg, smeared silicone on and after it dried put the
boot on top. 

 Later she quit even using the boot.  Nobody ever noticed, it just looked
like Desitin.  She said it pealed right off when you were done and worked
great.  No more rubs.  Her favorite way was to apply it just before she
loaded up for the ride so it had plenty of time to dry before it could
get dirty.  Now you know.
