This is what we do now, and if someone CHOOSES to ride a smaller horse, they
are entitled to do it. We do! Indeed, the rank and file horses who continue
to be successful in completions, etc., and NOT the big horses, but the more
moderately sized horses. Again, if we start breaking down every single
parameter of endurance racing, where does it end? big feet, small feet, black
feet, white feet, sheesh!

weighing in horses as well as riders....where will it end? We CHOOSE to ride
the horses we do."""

Am I not understanding this correctly. It is not the horses weight that is
the issue as things are now. It is the riders weight that gives that
advantage or disadvantage. Again to weigh the horse and rider will be a more
accurate score. Is that not what the whole point is? Who rode the best ride
with what they had. All facts must be considered to get a true result. You
can argue any point you want but mathematically speaking this is the most
accurate and the most fair. Changes must take place to grow. From what I
see if issues always change in this sport for what is the best. One may not
want to change but that does not make them right.
