re clover

According to literature from the Oregon Extension Service, clover has the same
protein as alfalfa and a better calcium/phosporus balance and is a recommended
mix in grass hay and pasture. The correct balance is 60% grass and 40% clover
for optimum nutrition and yield.

And thanks for all the replies to the hay question, think I will just watch my
storage more carefully, drop a tarp over the top in the loft and watch how the
horses do next late winter..

Meanwhile, I have four easyboots stuck on my horse's feet after the
Mountainside ride and no miracle reply yet!!! Come on! Shahin is getting
pensive!! He wants his feet back!!

Terry and Shahin (formerly Shadow, but I found his papers and his name!)
