I have a friend that wants me to ask if anyone has ever heard of glaucome in horses. She has a 16 yo mare that has been diagnosed by the Univerisity of Georgia in Athens with glaucoma in one eye. The eye is cloudy and looks like it is going to pop out of it's socket. The mare was given medication every so many hours and the eye became clear and normal looking and then was told to discontinue the medication. Now the eye is cloudy and bulging again. Has anyone had any experience with this and if so what was the outcome?
