trailer connector mildew

Cheryl;

Although I live in the relatively humidless SW I still encounter the problem
of trailer connector mildew. I just read in Trail Blazer that auto parts
stores carry some kind of tool that will clean these connectors. Haven't
looked yet but I will as the ice pick only does a so-so job. Be sure to
leave the connector facing down when it is uncoupled so it doesn't collect
moisture.
