trailer question

Hi, 

I am in the process of looking for a new truck and trailer. A friend is
selling her whole rig for a good price as she is getting a bigger setup.
The rig for sale is a 1989 Ford F-250 gas engine and a 1997 3 horse
goose-neck with a small dressing room. I really liked the setup until I
noticed that the trailer is a single axle trailer. Does anyone have any
comments/experience with single axle trailers? The brand is DD trailers.
