too many gut sounds

>Can anyone respond to Dollys message about excessive gut sounds and
>colic?

Don't know if this helps, but may be what the vet was referring to. I
overdid it with probiotics giving them at every vet check when my horse
wasn't used to them. When my horse started showing signs of colic (not
interested in food, pawing, wanted to lay down) he still had gut sounds.
There were inexperienced vets vetting the ride who had been giving him
A's.

An experience vet who was riding checked him out when he was showing
symptoms and said he did not need treatment, just walk him awhile. He
didn't look like the usual endurance colic. He looked like the kind you
get occasionally at home. Just a horse who is irritated in a little pain
and wants to roll. It passed in about 30 min.
