Go the Distance by Nancy Loving is an excellent book and has a very
comprehensive chapter on hoof care for the endurance horse.  Best
investment (literature wise) I have made yet for educating myself about
endurance.  I still go through it and find information tidbits that I
either missed the first time or weren't relevant or of interest at the
time...it continues to teach me and reinforce what I have already
learned.  You won't regret getting a copy.
