I have used the vosal on and off for two years. I mostly use it for
slower, non competitive rides and use a Myler bit with curb chain for
endurance rides. Kyla does not carry herself well and tends to get
strung out with the vosal but she is much happier in it. On a long ride
I like to vary the way my horse is going (collection) and Kyla will not
collect properly with a vosal. I want to keep the back muscles in shape.

I have a friend who uses the vosal 100% of the time. This particular
horse has wonderful self-carriage.
