She HAS a good reason--she knows it works!  Tie an innertube securely to 
the
trailer...<snip>

...AND make sure the inner tube is at least car-sized and not weathered.  I 
made the mistake of using a motorcycle inner tube and it didn't stand up to 
a puller I had.
