Okay, now here I think *I* might need to take offense.  I teach my
children (and other people's children too, actually) that one of the
most valuable skills they can learn is to hold their own in an argument,
without letting their opponents invective get the best of them.  My son
could argue his way out of just about anything by the time he was 4, ask
his teachers! (My daughter isn't quite as tough yet. She's still in
training.) They keep me on my toes too.

And by the way, if they were interested (too young yet) I'd gladly let
them learn from all of you guys.  Being a part of a community is how we
all learn to get along.  Diversity is important.
