Hi Sandy, You have made a good point. I wasn't looking at it from the view
point of KIDS reading Ridecamp.  You're right it does sound negative and mean
spirited when viewed without the filter of "adulthood".  I do appreciate Tom,
Susan, Sarah , Heidi, et al and their opinions and would hate to have them
stop posting to Ridecamp because we objected to the WAY they posted.  They are
too valuable a resource and I think it's great that they spend their time
trying to educate and inform the rest of us.  By the way, you are soooo lucky
to have a daughter who is horse crazy!  I have two boys who aren't intersted
unless it has a motor and wheels (they are MY crew though, and my youngest
will be crewing for my 7/24/99 on his 12th birthday! -- I owe him BIG TIME for
that one!).
