We agree - for one thing, my husband who is a collegiate COACH never played
past triple A. He is however, the most honorable coach, upholding the
integrity of the U (rare these days), with more players actively playing pro
ball than ANY coach in the nation, AND with the highest overall GRADUATION
rate in the nation. He never played Major League, but he is a major league
COACH. 

We also agree that the original remark was mean-spirited, bad enough to say
privately, but certainly not on the Net. This is the only list I allow my 11
year old daughter to view. She said the same thing - "that's mean, Mama!"

It is O.K. to disagree and have constructive arguments but the last
thing RC needs or wants is another person jabbing at Tom or another
person, for that matter. I have been a subscriber for almost 2 1/2 years
and this is the first time that I have felt the need to comment about a
situation like this.

In my opinion Sarah, you owe Tom an apology.
