re: sour or me?

in regard to the above topic, i really like what Heidi said earlier about
"trainers" simply going to more harsh methods instead of REALLY taking time
to look at the cause of what's happening.

I had problems a year ago with my "big mare" (11 year old Paint). The
problems sounded _very_ similar to what the original poster stated (except
that Dottie is now relegated to 'pet pleasure horse' status...no top tens
in _her_ future!). we had her teeth floated, which helped IMMENSELY, but
then she was still cranky, hard to catch, and generally miserable each time
you took her out to ride (she loooves to go go go!). we had the vet out,
and we discovered.....wolf teeth (i beleive this what they were called).
they were tiny things that i would never have seen since i dont typically
go fishing around into dottie's mouth, as she will definitely mistake me
for a treat.

to make a long, tedious story short, we had those teeny teeth removed and
she has been a dream ever since!

for all your teeth experts out there, could this be the case here?
