Re: Fearless Travel

I don't know about others, but I'm thankful for my dog, gun, and baseball
bat in my truck. I'm not some little flowery thing either, I was raised a
farm girl who wrestled with her older brothers all the time.

But my dog, who is a Dobie Hound mix, has saved my bacon more than once. I
have been followed at night, had guys try to get in my car while at a red
light, of all things! My dog took care of that quick! I'm not afraid of dogs
either, but a lot of others are, and my dog is very protective, goes about
80 lbs, and can be very nasty when Mom is in trouble. Think I'm paranoid?
Well, after some of the stuff that has happened in this rural area, I'll
stick to it.

I hope that you never run into a situation where you need protection, you
don't always get the chance to protect yourself. I found out the hard way,
so I'll keep my dog.
