Hi!  Thanks for the suggestion!  I just saw a halter like the one you
described in Stateline catalog and I'm ordering it today!  Glad to have it
recommended by someone who has used it.  In a couple of months I may try
riding the youngster and ponying the older guy, but right now the kid is just
tooooooo green.  He is a pill though, his favorite thing to do is to lick the
old guy on the neck, this seems to piss Harca off more than even a bite will
and if I weren't on Harca, I'm sure some serious butt whipping would occur.
When we start trotting it turns into a wild and wooly horse race in a matter
of minutes.  These two will compete over absolutely anything, including my 8
month old colt (who must feel like the rope in a game of tug-of-war!).  Thanks
again for the ideas!
