Endurance saddles

Hi everyone,
I have finally decided to purchase an endurance type saddle for my horse. My
Western and English saddles are just not cutting it (too heavy, not enough
rings, etc.) I have been searching the archives but I find it very tedious. If
I search for 'saddle' I get a bunch of posts that have nothing to do with
saddles and have to guess which ones might. Does anyone know a better way to
search? Also, because I am somewhat new to this I do not know many brand names
of different endurance saddles to search for. I was wondering if everyone
could just send me a quick e-mail and say what brand and kind of saddle you
use and what you like and do not like about it.
Also I was wondering about the 'treeless saddles'. I don't understand how a
saddle could not have a tree. Could someone explain this to me?
My horse is a half arab and is somewhat rounder with smaller withers. A lot of
the saddles I have tried do not fit him well. They seem to be made for
narrower types. Any suggestions? I would get a custom made saddle if you think
that is what I need to do.
Thanks so much.
