No one should ride for free.  No such thing as a free lunch.  The things
in life that are important to you are the things you work & pay for.  
Give juniors a discount, absolutely, but they need to pay a fee.  They
need to learn the value of money, they need to learn to work for the
things they care about.  I don't know how many juniors you have nor
whether this would offset the cost of non-member fees for LD or whatever
... I'm just stating a principle in which I believe most firmly.

And you might try a little marketing finesse and learn how to quote fees
so that it sounds like there's a discount for AERC members, rather than an
extra fee for non-members. <VBEG>
