Great Horsemen

Great Horsemen have argued (discussed) horses, their training and
equipment used in the riding of those horses for centuries...
To think that anyone on this list knows the RIGHT way to "do it", ABOVE
AND BEYOND those great horsemen (teachers), is ludicrous.
To think that anyone out there has found a "secret", defies credulity.
Read Fillis, read Olivera, read DeKunfy, read Mairinger...or don't.
And in regards to "teaching" green horses to bend...they already know how
to bend long before ANY rider "jumps" on them...the subtle communication to do
it when we want them to is the real art. Some, as you profess, teach them to
"give to the bit", others teach them to bend BEFORE a bit is ever introduced.

    Fair winds and following seas,

     Frank.
