Re:Fee for non-members

My husband and I have are Newbie's to the Endurance World but are =
absorbing the knowledge we get from here like a spong. We would gladly pay =
the non-member fee to see if we enjoy the sport. I currently belong to the =
IAHA and the AHSA because I show the A-circuits for clients, those =
non-member fees are killers. My husband and I are by no means "well-off" =
but we know horses in general are an expensive sport. Any horse club needs =
income to continue to improve the quality and to encourage more members. =
We all have our priorities and even with all we have on our plate my =
husband and I manage to continue with horses as our first hobby. When you =
put it in perspective $10 is two days of packing your lunch or one less =
trip to the movie theater. Our 13 year old son has decided to try =
endurance with us. We have three more sons besides him. He has had to buy =
his on horse and pay for all his equipment. I figure if a 13 year old can =
do it with NO help from his parents other than we do feed buy the feed for =
his horse but he in return takes total care of the six we own. Then we all =
as adults can fork out $10 to better the sport. Can't We???????
Thanks for letting me put in my 2cents worth.

Nicole Huttar (NC Newbie)
