Oh, don't I wish I had an easyboot this weekend! I have put off purchasing
some long enough! I was sure disappointed when I went to get Buck in the
pasture, myself being anxious to ride (since the last 10 days I have not
been able to ride due to more mundane things like weather, a friend's
wedding, visitors, etc., etc.), and I find him in good health but minus a
shoe in front and with a slightly mangled hoof (from I guess pulling the
shoe off once it was loose enough). At least he wasn't lame - just a bit
sensitive when he had to walk on some small rocks on the way up to the barn.
Another weekend without riding since my blacksmith could not be reached. I
am trying to comfort myself with the thought that horses regain their
fitness level quicker than humans, but I am having riding withdrawal. Oh if
only I had an Easyboot or two!!! Sniff, sniff :(
