Sue, from the way you describe this pony, I think she could carry you just
fine.  If I were you, I'd just start out conditioning her and see how she
takes it.  I've seen several ponies and also purebred Arabs about the same
size carry some pretty large riders cheerfully and competently.  Sounds like
you got a good deal for your smaller riders in the future!
