Hi Steph,

I'm subscribed at my home address; can you please post this to ridecamp
for me?

Thanks, Linda Cowles

Hi folks,

I borrowed a digital camera from work (thank you Mentor Graphics!) and
spent this past weekend at the Swanton 100 learning how to use it. Next
year, any camera work I do at THIS ride will be - hopefully - from the
saddle! Swanton is fantastic - definitely on my list of "must do" rides!
Or Ride and Tie - Ellen McCrary successfully persuaded me to try that
sport as well... Therese, are you still interested??!

Anyone whose name is in the following lists can email me at
linda_cowles@mentorg.com, and I'll attach their picture (a 40 kb to 90
kb jpeg image) to a reply. If you want a picture of someone else, please
ask them to send it to you, or if they don't have email, ask them to ask
me to send it to you. Some folks are shy about their photos hitting the
internet, and I can't say that I blame them!

I have multiple photos of some people, and will email the jpeg files one
at a time because of the size. They may take a few minutes to download
to home computers. Once you get the email, detach the files and open
with Windows 95 Internet Explorer or a similar tool.

If the Swanton riders like the pictures, I may do this at other local
rides (for free) when I'm not riding, or see if Mentor Graphics will let
me take the camera and let a friend take pictures. Using a digital
camera is VERY easy (moving the camera doesn't ruin the pictures!) and
the only expense is the camera, a dozen floppy disks and enough disk
space to load the jpeg images into. If anyone else is thinking of trying
it, I'd be happy to talk to them about it.

Let me know what you think! Linda
