Official 1998 Tevis Cup Results

The OFFICIAL Finishers' List (and list of non-finishers) is now available on the
Tevis Website at,

   http://www.foothill.net/tevis/riders98byplace.htm

The information is also presented sorted by Rider#, Rider Name, Rider
City-and-State and Horse Breed-Age-and-Sex.

Other portions of the site, such as the Webcast pages have been updated to
reflect the availability of these official results.  (I hope I found them all.)

If you discover any questionable items in the official standings list please
email me at once.  To the best of my knowledge, the information is free of
typos, etc.  If you are the rider listed and any of the incidental items, such
as horse height/weight, are blank, please email the correct info.

Full information about PULLS, such as reason pulled, is not yet compiled. 
Please be patient.

Note that the Records and Trivia information has NOT been updated to reflect the
1998 Ride as yet (and probably won't for several weeks to come.)  If you know of
a record/trivia item that has not been shown in the past, please email your
suggestion to me for possible inclusion.

I'm just now sorting through all the email questions and comments from the
weekend.  I will do my best to respond to all queries that are not obviously
covered by the website update.

If you do not have access to a web browser and would like an email version of
the official results, please send me a note separately (NOT via Ridecamp.)

Many, many, MANY thanks to the Tevis Communications Volunteers and to the
Trailside Reporters who all did an OUTSTANDING job this year!!!  We'll do even
better next year, taking the several constructive suggestions received so far
into account.

Thanks to all on Ridecamp, too, for the many notes of thanks and appreciation
you sent in.  You're a great audience and you make it fun.
