Re: Weigh Stations & Horse Trailers

Teddy, Ramey and other Big Rig Haulers,,,,,This is the 4th month of running
the Freightliner all through the sough east and now into Texas. We did the
necessary conversion work to the Freightliner to have it registered as an
RV. However it still looks like a Freightliner tractor. The Captain at
the Henderson KY weigh station told me before we did the conversion work
that if we just crossed the scales so they could weigh and get a look at us
all would be ok. And yes we have RV/ NOT FOR HIRE. So far we have crossed
all the scales and have been given the green light. Yes, it takes a couple
of minutes, but the way I look at it, its not as much time lost vs. being
chased down stopped and so on. Jerry Fruth....Hickory Ridge...Standing
JABASK KNIGHT......1st heavyweight at the Dogwood Challenge the past
weekend. JL
