This gun conversation is awful! I had no idea so many felt the need to carry weapons with them. I have never had the experience meeting up with a character who would be a threat. Most people fear horses and do not come close. After Dr. Heidi's letter I do feel the need to have something packed in my trailer just in case the horse should need this. Isn't there something I could get from the Vet to take care of this ? I would not feel safe carrying a gun with me on a ride, or leaving it at camp even with my trailer locked. Leaving guns at camp is really upsetting to me--seeing all the children that run lose while parent(s) ride. PLEASE be sure you lock them up. Angie Mcghee's story really frightened me, What if the "openely friendly man driver" had a gun and took it as a threat, what if he stopped or swerved on the interstate, this little flashing of the gun could have really gotten someone hurt. THINK BEFORE YOU ACT-- WE WILL ALL BE SAFER FOR IT.
