Has anyone used a Soft Rider Saddle from Underwood Enterprizes in Oregon?
How did you like it? Several of us are thinking about them as an option
and would really like feedback from anyone who has ridden in one.

For anyone who hasn't heard about them, I have seen only the brochure, but
it looks interesting. Seat is leather, rest plain or coloured Cordura,
treeless with stuffed cantle and pommel, 15 lb. comes with hooded stirrups
and breastplate and girth system somewhat like that of dressage saddles to
keep it in place riding and from rolling as one mounts, and has a washable
felt saddle pad. Cost in US dollars this autumn was $575.

The Canadian dollar is in terrible shape compared to the U.S. but I'd love
to send in a deposit soon and get them working on 'mine' before spring
rush. Anyone with any experience of these saddles, please do tell us what
it was. Thanks very much.
