THE MOUNTAIN QUARRIES "NO HANDS" RAILROAD BRIDGE TO BE REOPENED.

During a meeting conducted by Steven Anderson of the United States
Bureau of Reclamation on December 18, it was announced that the Bridge
dear to all our hearts will be reopened to equestrian and pedestrian
traffic as soon as the signage is installed by the Auburn State
Recreation Area.

The temporary winter stabilization was competed by Inshore Divers on
November 20 and after a review of the repairs by USBR engineers, it was
determined that the Bridge is safe for noted use.

All equestrians will be required to dismount and walk their mounts
across the Bridge in single file. The Bridge gates will be locked shut
when the flow of the River rises above a "benchmark" that is at the
point where the pier meets the block footings.

The reopening is a true example of how the Government and private sector
cooperates and get something competed. Thanks for all your help and
support in reopening the Bridge.
