I feel every horse is an individual, however an Arab ex race horse is a
very good bet. I bred and raised High Winds Jedi, who with a few good
friends put him in training where upon he didn't win a race for two years=

and then when we decided to bring him home to put on the trail, he won hi=
s
last race by 15 lengths and broke a track record! He was always second,
third or even forth by just a nose. He didn't care for the buggy men out
front. But, he learned a good work ethic and was well taken care of. He=

was and is a wonderful and fun horse to be around. I used him as my
back-up horse on CTR's and a couple of endurance rides where he always
placed well or won. Then sold him to Nina Warren, who did very well with
him. Now you can watch him with Valerie Kanavy, I know I will! Would I
buy an ex-race horse? You bet!
