I disagree on the basis that vets are paid by management for their presence at
the ride, not to treat horses that get into trouble. Once the vet begins
individual treatment, he or she assumes all the responsibilities and
liabilities that such treatment entails. I believe they are entitled to full
fees for consultation and treatment, minus the ranch visit, of course.
