Don, Styles are individual preference. Novices appreciate how the Australian
saddle has close contact to the horse, yet helps to correct an imbalance. It
was designed in Australia by men who put our 3-day event riders to shame,
chasing wild herds down the mountain, and through the trees! Fit to the
horse is crucial. Used saddles are still around $1000. as they have a life
of 30 years, and haven't been in this country long enough to have flooded the
market, as others have. Judy
